About
My reviews, essays, interviews and features have appeared in Another Gaze: A Feminist Film Journal, Apollo, Artforum, Artsy, The Baffler, Burlington Contemporary, Dirt, e-Flux Criticism, The Guardian, the ICA Bulletin, Masterpiece, The New York Times, Outland, Paper Visual Art, The Telegraph, and The World of Interiors.
I’ve also written essays for gallery exhibitions – including at Hales in London and New York, P420 in Bologna, The Approach in London, and Perrotin in New York – and artist books. These include the introduction to a monograph on the drawings of Keith Cunningham (HENI Publishing). I am the autumn 2025 writer in residence at Salzburger Kunstverein for its residency programme in partnership with Spike Art Magazine.
I was the creator and host of the Apollo 40 Under 40 podcast (in 2018–21) as well as a three-part series on NFTs (2022). You can listen here and here. I’ve also hosted live talks, online and in person, for Unit London, London Art Fair, Aesthetica’s Future Now Symposium (where I was on the art prize jury in 2021), and Hales. I worked on exhibitions at the ICA, and organised a show of moving-image work at Hales New York.
From 2022 to 2024, I was editor of Outland, a magazine specialising in art and technology. From 2017 to 2021, I was web editor of the art magazine Apollo (not the male models’ magazine of the same name). I also edit, copy-edit and proofread books and other publications for clients. You can contact me for more information on this or any other projects.
