Writing

My reviews, interviews and essays have appeared in Another Gaze: A Feminist Film Journal, Apollo, Artforum, Artsy, Burlington Contemporary, the Guardian's Saturday magazine, the ICA Bulletin, Masterpiece, The New York Times, Outland, Paper Visual Art, The Telegraph, and The World of Interiors.

I’ve contributed shorter texts for several Phaidon art books (the Vitamin series as well as Great Women Artists (2019) and its various spin-offs). I also write essays on artists for exhibitions, including at Hales in London and New York (see here and here), P420 in Bologna, The Approach in London, and Perrotin in New York. My introduction to a book on the drawings of Keith Cunningham (with HENI Publishing) is forthcoming.

Conversations

I was the creator and host of the Apollo 40 Under 40 podcast for three series (in 2018, 2019 and 2021) as well as a three-part series on NFTs, which came out in May 2022. I have also hosted live talks, online and in person, for Unit London (watch that here), London Art Fair, Aesthetica's Future Now Symposium (where I was on the art prize jury in 2021), and Hales Gallery.

Editing

I was deputy editor of Outland, a magazine specialising in art and technology, from 2022 to 2024. Before that, from 2017 to 2021, I was web editor of the art magazine Apollo (not the male models' magazine of the same name). Past freelance editorial clients include Another Gaze, Critical Edge, EVA International, the Freud Museum, the Irish Museum of Modern Art, and Phaidon.

Curating

Once upon a time I studied museum curating at the Courtauld Institute of Art. I worked on exhibitions at the ICA, and organised a show of moving-image work at Hales New York.
